Dispatcher (m/f/d) – Sea Container Trucking | Local Transport in the Ludwigshafen / Mannheim / Leipzig Area
Your role:
You will organize, manage, and optimize our sea container transport operations in local traffic. You think entrepreneurially, act with a solution-oriented mindset, and keep an overview even in highly dynamic situations.
Your responsibilities:
- Dispatching and planning of sea container trucking operations (import / export)
- Coordination of our own fleet as well as partner carriers
- Coordination with customers, shipping lines, terminals, and depots
- Ensuring on-time delivery and optimal capacity utilization
- Proactive handling of deviations and bottlenecks
- Optimization of routes and processes (costs / efficiency)
- Maintenance and management within the transport management system
Your profile:
- Training in freight forwarding / logistics or comparable experience
- Practical experience in dispatching, ideally in container transport
- Good knowledge of regional traffic structures
- Strong organizational skills and quick decision-making ability
- Strong communication skills when dealing with drivers, customers, and partners
- Digital affinity (TMS, MS Office, etc.)
- Fluent German; English is an advantage
